The 2011 II-VI Workshop will be held October October 4-6 at the Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown-Lakefront.

The deadline for Workshop registration is
September 23, 2011. The registration fee for all attendees,
except full-time university students, will be
$695. The special student fee will be will be $150.
The fees include lunches, refreshments, a copy of
the Book of Extended Abstracts, and a soft-bound
copy of the Workshop proceedings in a Special
Issue of the Journal of Electronic Materials. A hardbound
copy of the Workshop proceedings can be
purchased for an additional $40. Please make all
checks, drawn from a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars,
payable to The II-VI Workshop.
Hotel Accommodations
Industry Attendees
A block of rooms has been reserved at Sheraton New Orleans Hotel at the special Workshop rate for industry attendees. More detailes will be posted when available.
US Government & University Attendees
US Government employees and University attendees are eligible for a further reduced room rate at the pervailing 2011-2012 US Government per diem rate. However, to receive the University/Governemnt rate, qualified individuals should download the University/Government hotel reservation form and mail or fax the form to Julie Amodeo:

Copies of the University/Government hotel forms may also be requested electronically by emailing to jamodeo@pcm411.com. Since a limited number of these reduced-rate rooms have been reserved, please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. A rooming list of Government/University-rate reservations will be sent to the hotel.
Student Financial Assistance
To help defray the cost of attending the Workshop, the registration fee for students will be $150. In addition, full-time students presenting papers will receive up to $650 in support. This support must be requested in advance of the Workshop.
